With over 40 women in attendance, Allegany County became the first host to kickoff the Women for Reed Coalition Saturday afternoon. Recognizing Reed for his dedication to the families of Western New York, the Allegany County Women’s Republican Committee joined to celebrate the inaugural event.
“We came together and joined the Women for Reed coalition because Tom is working to protect the American dream,” said Linda Fanton, ACWRC Chairwoman. Tom is standing up for our families, focusing on jobs and using his position to highlight domestic abuse and sexual assault. He cares for our community, and more importantly, he cares about the future of our families.”
“It’s really humbling to see such a wonderful group of women come together on my behalf,” said Reed. “My wife Jean and my daughter Autumn inspire me to continue fighting for the families of Western New York and I’m so pleased a shared passion to highlight sexual assault and domestic abuse through the NO MORE campaign can be shared with these incredible women.”
