Robertson’s campaign filed a report Tuesday showing she has raised more than $1,500,000 for the cycle and has more than $1,129,000 cash-on-hand. More than 6,000 individuals have given to Robertson’s campaign, with 95% of the donors to the campaign having given $250 or less.
"This widespread grassroots support continues to stand in stark contrast, as in previous quarters, to Congressman Reed who relies heavily on Washington corporate PAC and special interest money to raise just over 54% of his cash in the first quarter of the year," says her campaign staff.
“As of today over 6,000 individual donors have stepped up to support our campaign and I am very honored by their faith and support.” Robertson said. “The people of the 23rd district are giving us a message loud and clear that they want a representative who will fight to protect Social Security and Medicare and someone who will bring economic prosperity to the region, rather than Congressman Tom Reed who continues to vote to cut Medicare and to raise taxes on the middle class in order to protect millionaires like him and corporations that ship jobs overseas.”
Q2 reports are due to be filed with the Federal Election Commission by July 15th, 2014.
