Nalley replaced David Crawford, who held the position for the past 18 years. Nalley is responsible for training and supervising ten firefighters who specialize in crash, fire and rescue responsibilities at the airport. They also manage the airfield infrastructure, maintaining the runway and taxiways and passing critical flight safety information about airport conditions to airport users.
Airport Manager Hall thanked Crawford for his many years of dedicated leadership, while welcoming Nalley to his new responsibility. “I’m very excited about the fresh perspective and energy Josh brings to this critical position” Hall commented. “The air service is industry is rapidly changing and our airport has to keep pace, so we continue to provide safe and efficient flight options for our travelers. Josh Nalley has the experience and leadership skills to make this happen.”
