"It was great to get out and meet with voters, find out what was on their minds. I'm thankful so many signed my petition to get on the ballot. People deserve a choice and by being on the ballot, I believe over the next few months we can win the votes of the majority of the Republicans in the 54th district," said Floyd Rayburn.
Rayburn owns F.G. Masonry in Canandaigua, a business he started with nothing but a wheelbarrow, and grew into a 50 employee operation. He was born and raised in Ontario County on his family's dairy farm and milk delivery business.
The conservative knows how to create jobs and make a payroll and says he'll bring that knowledge to Albany with creating jobs being his top priority. He is also pushing for term limits for Senators and Assemblymen, real ethics reform, including requiring jail time for elected officials convicted of corruption, and putting a stop to the SAFE ACT. He says if it is not repealed, he'll vote to defund the legislation.
