Mark was a native of Ithaca, NY, and worked at Woolworth's for 17 years until they closed and in various stores in the Pyramid Mall (Shops at Ithaca) for two years. At the time of his disappearance he was 40 years old, and described as being 5'5" tall, 135 lbs., with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last known to be wearing gold-rimmed eye glasses, a tan jacket, blue jeans, a green golf shirt, and light green sneakers. Mark was also missing the tip of his right middle finger.
Since Mark's disappearance, the Sheriff's Office has followed up on numerous leads and interviews and has been unsucessful at resolving this case. The Sheriff's Office does not believe Mark disappeared on his own accord and expects foul-play is involved. Unfortunately, the investigation has become cold. Family and friends of Mark are struggling with unanswered questions and are desperate for any information that may provide them with some sense of closure.
Investigator's are seeking any information that may aid in resolving this case. Mark's family has offered a $5,000 reward to anyone providing information that successfully leads to a resolution regarding Mark's whereabouts.
Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Sheriff's Office at (607) 257-1345.
