Ariel L. Johnson, a resident of Lansing, N.Y., and senior communication and humanities major at Clarkson University, has been awarded the Turpin Technical Communications Junior Award. Established through a gift by Dr. Elizabeth R. Turpin, a one-time Clarkson faculty member who was instrumental in starting what is now the Department of Communication & Media at Clarkson, the award is given to an outstanding senior in this department. The recipient is presented with a year’s membership in the Society for Technical Communication and a commemorative plaque.----
