LANSING: Rev. William F. Estes, 72 of 14 Auburn Road, Lansing, New York died suddenly, Wednesday evening, March 22, 2006.
Born March 24, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Floyd and Margaret (nee Hayden) Estes and the widower of Patricia (nee Sinclair) Estes, who died March 1, 1997. Rev. Estes was the Pastor of The Covert Baptist Church and also owned and operated Estes Plumbing and Heating Repair. A man of incredible faith, he will be remembered as being dedicated to the Lord and in every circumstance, putting others first. He was a devoted community member and brought great joy and laughter to those who were blessed to know him.
Survivors include his daughter, Patricia (Robert) Delio of Interlaken, his sons, Glenn (Sharon) of Newfoundland, PA., James (Cindy) of Scranton, PA., his sister Margaret (Donald) Middlemiss of West Islip, NY., his grandchildren, Rebekah Perkins, Jason Hazlak, Rachael Delio, James Estes, Sarah Van Vleck, Robert Pawlukovich, his great grandchildren, Eva, Shawna, Samantha, Nicholas and Gracie.
Funeral services will be Sunday, 2:00pm at The Covert Baptist Church, Route 96, Trumansburg, New York. Rev. James DePew will officiate.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
