Born January 12, 1920 in Christian Springs, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Granville and Carrie (nee Moser) Oplinger and the widow of Paul Parker, who died January 11, 1988. Mrs. Parker was employed at Cornell University as a Custodian and had also been a waitress at Joe's Restaurant, Ithaca and Chris n Green's Restaurant, Lansing. She had also been employed by The Lansing Central School System where she worked in the Cafeteria.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean (Herbert) Robinson of Brooksville, FL, her sons, James of Manvel, TX., William (Sigrid) of Locke, NY, Robert (Diane) of Lansing, her sister, Betty Ellis of Ithaca, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at The Lansing Funeral Home, Inc., 32 Auburn Road, Lansing on Friday afternoon, between the hours of 4:00pm and 6:00pm. Private graveside services will be held in Lansingville Cemetery, Lansing and will be delayed.
