mailmanI believe that the fierce independence of Lansing will vote this down on the first introduction to"consolidation," as have many small towns that won't want to have to try and deal with a long distance government that "will not" respond to their needs as local government currently does.

People will feel they have lost their say and control and will reject this proposal outright and by a large turnout.

Consolidation means less services and being ignored in representation.

It is not all it is presented to be by the "bundlers of governments."

It surely sounds good,"but won't be." Best of luck to Lansing.
