Hey,

While I do not work for Lockitron, I have had one since October. I saw your piece and wanted to mainly update one glaring issue I saw with it: that paying now would push you further in line.

This is not actually how it worked, it just guaranteed your unit would ship ON TIME and not EARLIER. The only reason I got mine in October of 2013 was because I ordered on the first day within the first hour or so.

Thanks for writing up about the lackluster (at best) experience many of us backers have had - even after receiving the unit.
