This is a crucial election, one that will likely determine what direction the Town will go regarding development, preservation of open space, sensible growth planning, sustainable energy systems and educational facilities. Katrina has served the Town in for years: as a board member, as a dedicated, talented volunteer, helping plan and coordinate the Salt Point project, as a landscaper to beautify the Town Hall, and quietly behind the scenes where her helping hands are needed.
I believe this election is about character and integrity. Having known Katrina for more than 30 years, I can vouch for her positive, can-do approach to problem-solving, her ability to listen respectfully to other perspectives, working quietly without fanfare, and for her delightful sense of humor. Katrina's compassion for others serves her well. These attributes position her well for the Town Board.
I will be voting for Katrina, and her co-candidates, Kathy Miller and Andra Benson. I urge Village and Town of Lansing voters to join me and do the same.
