Four years ago the Lansing Market opened in the Town of Lansing. After more than 20 years without a full service supermarket, a group of friends from the community joined together to finance and operate the Lansing Market, which provides fresh fruits and vegetables, a full deli, fresh baked goods, custom cut meats and a full line of grocery offerings. The Lansing Market has always been intended to be a resource for our wonderful community to offer convenience, a social center, a place of employment and a nucleus to help launch a town center. The challenges of running a full service grocery store are significant.

Although we have received positive feedback on the store, the owners and management are very aware that there have been problems within the store that have required attention and change.  In the last two months we have implemented changes to insure pricing accuracy, we have re-trained our team on the importance of customer service, and we are adjusting the store layout to ease movement throughout the store.  There will be more changes to come as we focus on winning your loyalty.

We recognize our community has many choices as to where they buy their groceries.  Although we believe the convenience of our store is great, it is not sustainable for us to exist as simply a convenience store.  We have competitive pricing on quality products.  We offer specialty and local items that have been requested by our customers.  We are asking you to see for yourself the value that the Lansing Market provides, you will see that value and local can co-exist in Lansing.
