When my husband became very frail I would sit outside the men's room waiting to hear him call for help. It would have been much nicer had I been able to accompany him the whole time. I have known women with a broken leg or arm who could have used their husband's help in a ladies room.

As we grown older more and more of us are going to need help in the bathroom. It would be nice if partners or sons or daughters could be there to help with clothing and getting up and down from the throne.
