There’s no cause to burn the Stars and Stripes to protest Donald Trump. The American flag continues to represent our collective hopes and dreams as we, the people, in fits and starts, attempt to create a 'more perfect union.' Instead, I suggest you be patriotic and burn the rebel flag. The confederate Stars and Bars is a holy symbol of a gravely mistaken lost cause found in both the 19th and 21st century. Burning the rebel flag will send your message to the right sort without upsetting the rest of us.
