We would like to offer our strong support for Michael Koplinka-Loehr for Tompkins County Legislature (Lansing District 6).We have known Mike for 30 years and have observed the uncommon effectiveness of someone who is among the most community-minded people, lending his efforts to a wide range of issues calling for citizen involvement. His rich experience in local government is rare and demonstrates his life-long commitment to tackling problems that matter.
When Mike sees a complicated issue, he doesn’t wait for others to intervene, he rolls his up his sleeves and takes action that will benefit the whole community. Mike is not an extremist; he possesses the unusual quality these days in being willing to carefully consider the pros and cons of issues before taking a position.
We badly need legislators like Mike.
