We strongly support the candidacy of Mike Koplinka-Loehr for the Tompkins County Legislature. Mike served on the Tompkins County Legislature from 1998 to 2009, and was board chairperson in 2008 and 2009. As chair of the Budget Committee from 2004 through 2007 he established an improved budget process that brought the annual increases in the county tax under control. Mike has served our community in positions of responsibility for over 30 years, with a high sense of commitment and proven leadership qualities. His re-election to the Tompkins County Legislature would be of great advantage to the future of Lansing.
