mailmanI feel extremely fortunate that we in the Town of Lansing have the opportunity to vote for Michael Koplinka-Loehr as our Tompkins County Legislator for District 6. Michael exhibits the character and upholds the qualities and principles of all that I would hope for from our representative in County decision-making.

Integrity, transparency, inclusiveness and accountability are the bedrock upon which Michael operates; we can trust him to represent us fairly and to work courageously and compassionately on behalf of all of us. Michael's demonstrated knowledge, experience and competence in the broad spectrum of local governance responsibilities and issues including taxation and budgeting, physical and social infrastructure delivery, and business recruitment and retention among others assures us that he will get the best outcomes possible for his constituents.

Further, Michael has the humble confidence and thoughtful capacity to innovate, to think outside the box and co-create with his constituents and fellow legislators economically viable, socially acceptable and ecologically sustainable solutions to the broad array of challenges and opportunities that are facing our unique, beautiful, growing and changing area.

I encourage one and all to get out and vote, and to get behind Mike on election day so that he can get behind the best interests of our remarkable Town and County for the next four years. See you at the polls!
