I feel extremely fortunate that we in the Town of Lansing have the opportunity to vote for Michael Koplinka-Loehr as our Tompkins County Legislator for District 6. Michael exhibits the character and upholds the qualities and principles that all of us would hope for from our representative in County decision-making. Integrity, transparency, inclusiveness and accountability are the bedrock upon which Michael operates; we can trust him to represent us fairly and to work courageously and compassionately on our behalf. Michael's demonstrated knowledge, experience and competence in local governance responsibilities and issues including taxation and budgeting, physical and social infrastructure delivery, and business recruitment and retention, among others, assures us that he will get the best outcomes possible for his constituents.

Michael also has the confidence and capacity to innovate. He will think outside the box to co-create with his constituents and fellow legislators the economically viable, socially acceptable and ecologically sustainable solutions we need to the unique challenges and opportunities that our beautiful, growing and changing area faces.

I encourage us all to get out and vote, and to get behind Michael Koplinka-Loehr on election day so that he can get behind the best interests of our remarkable Town and County for the next four years. See you at the polls!
