The Professional Golfers of America is the largest professional service organization in the United States of which Dick has been a member for nearly 50 years. Membership requirements cover a period of five years with three business schools followed by examinations plus a difficult playing ability test. Additionally, and ongoing re-certification process must be completed and passed.
I have personally known Dick Costello for 48 years. During that period, his integrity, enthusiasm for service, honesty and compassion for others in a decision-making process is par excellence. He is a loving family man and extremely well respected in the Ithaca community as well as in in the golf industry. Dick's communication skills are evidenced in the years he was Director of Golf Operations at Cornell University Golf Course. Finally, his enthusiasm for service in whatever challenges he endeavors to be involved in are attributes no one can challenge. I know and very much respect Dick.
Among Dick’s awarded honors are:
Central NY PGA Hall of Fame Member
Central NY PGA Golf Professional of the Year
Central NY PGA Teacher of the Year.
My credentials speak for themselves:
Member Half Century Club – PGA of America
National PGA Golf Professional of the Year
Member PGA National Hall of Fame
PGA Master Professional classification.
Question: How many judges in the state do not have law degrees?
