I first met Dick Costello when he was the Assistant Pro at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course at Cornell. When the Pro, James Fenner, retired Dick became the Pro. I worked with him as a member of the Cornell Women's Golf League and found him to be Reasonable and Fair in League matters.

In the mid 90's Dick asked me if I would like to help out as a Clerk in the Pro Shop. I found this work very satisfying and enjoyed working with Dick. I thought he treated the staff professionally and was concerned that we were comfortable doing our job, and in particular, that we were serving our customers as they deserved to be served.

I think Dick would be a Fair and Just Town Justice.
