I would like to make you aware that your continued activity of shooting lead bullets into Salmon Creek negatively impacts the real-estate value and resale of property owners in Ludlowville.

Recently a property owner almost had a sale when the buyer backed out. They found out about your plan to expand your club across Salmon Creek and your insistence on contaminating a new area with lead shot.

We are the unfortunate property owners right next door to where you plan to relocate you trap shooting ranges. The shooting box will be located 500 feet from our house. Yes readers I did say 500 feet. We own 3/4 of an acer of land. This will surely limit potential buyers for our property and the market sale of our house. As if the level of noise decimals from repetitive shooting would not be enough to discourage resale the lead dust in the wind and contamination from rain water will certainly seal the "No" deal.

Our house isn't just a resale asset, a piece of property. It is our home. We live here.

We ask that you reconsider staying where you are and come up with a more responsible plan. Your Best Practices offers you other healthy alternatives such as putting up a curtain to collect lead or making a commitment to shoot with nontoxic ammunition. By doing these things it would demonstrate you care about being a good neighbor. It would also be likely to save you the high expense of moving your ranges.
