For most of our students, the first person to greet them as they begin their school day, and the last person to say good-bye as their day ends is one of our bus drivers. The transportation staff members are among the most important people to our district, ensuring the safe delivery and return of our children from school, sporting events, and field trips throughout the school year.

The high school yearbook would be a great place to include our transportation staff, as they are surely part of the memories our children will keep of their Lansing School District experience.

 

To help support our high school yearbook, maybe the front-of-the-book page featuring the school board could be substituted with a best wishes message from them to our graduating seniors in the ad section. That would make space in the book for the transportation staff to be remembered and help support the yearbook at the same time.
