ImageHello to all who care about real health care for all, I have a small request of each of you. As you may know the huge fight over healthcare reform is going on in Washington. The positive outcome for reform in now starting to hinge on the so called Blue Dog Democrats.

I believe that without their support the effort to finally include a healthcare reform with a public option will fail. There are already two gigantic health care programs run by the US government: Medicare and the Armed Forces medical program. These are not only successful, but save the American tax payer billions by their ability to negotiate prices of procedures and drugs. A public option for those uninsured and underinsured in our country would help stop the excessive inflation of the present private health care system.

My request to you is to call Congressman Michael Arcuri's (a Blue Dog) office and make a formal verbal statement that supports the Public Option without restriction. His office telephone number is:  202-225-3665.

Yes,  I did compose this myself... it not a copy off a web-site! I've done alot of listening to both sides, and I truly believe it is what the majority of us want and need to stop the unbelievable escalation of health care cost in this country. Please call him.
