Every Tompkins County resident will be able to take a new step toward energy savings in 2012 while saving GreenBacks in their pockets and creating local jobs, due to a successful county-wide campaign that was launched on Leap-Year Day, involving a coalition of over 70 organizations and growing. Special prize thanks go to Tompkins County Solid Waste Dept., the 'Full Plate Collective' CSA, the Ithaca Farmers Market, Ithaca CarShare, TCAT, Seneca Electronics & Energy Solutions and our Get Your GreenBack Tompkins Campaign funders.
Special refreshments thanks for a standing room crowd of over 200 to Cornell Orchards, Cornell Catering, Gimme Coffee, Greenstar Coop, Ithaca Bakery, TOP’s Friendly Markets and Wegman’s.
