The new "messaging center" at the Lansing schools did not cost too much, but too little. The text area is too small and difficult to read safely at any speed or distance. More money would logically have resulted in a bigger and more useable sign. While I understand Dr. Grimm's rational for purchasing the sign, I find the device is totally inadequate for its intended purpose. After several weeks of trying to decipher small rapidly-scrolling messages, the equivalent of texting while driving and resulting in a near-accident, I have given up hope that the sign will ever work for me.
