I thought your opinion about the loss of our District Supervisor well thought out and quite to the point. You have great insight from attending every board meeting for as long as you have and from having your children grow up in the Lansing School System. It is no good ignoring the elephant in the room. This is a chance to un-emotionally evaluate the elements of effectiveness (and any lack there of) of the school board and the Lansing School community.

It is hard to hear a good idea when it is presented in a manner of disrespect or defensiveness. Equally it is easier to absorb constructive criticism when it is presented in a calm, respectful, and caring manner. I thank you for bringing the community's attention to an issue that we need to address on many levels in the months to come.
