If Mayor Hartil desires a new traffic light in the Village of Ithaca, I suggest the busy Hanshaw/Triphammer/Upland road intersection at Community Corners is a better location for it than isolated and little-used Craft Road. I find it to be an exhausting experience to drive along the southern end of Triphammer Road, between Cinema Drive and Community Corners, due to its high volume of cars and busses and high density housing (Kendell, Sharon Drive, and many apartment complexes, to name a few). A traffic light is desperately needed in the area.
Mayor Hartil may eventually get a traffic light at Craft Road, but he should should realize that the need for the traffic light is much more pressing elsewhere.
