Tuesday October 20, 2015, Waverly NY – The Lansing Ladycats swimmers defeated the Lady Wolverines of Waverly; 105-78 at the Waverly Natatorium. Coach Diane Hicks-Hughes swimmers moved to 11-0 in the IAC on the season. Lansing Swimmers also took 1^st place in all events.

Scoring/Placing for Lansing by event was as follows.

200 Medley Relay: 

1^st Place with a winning time and NEW Pool Record 1.59.29, the team of Paige Kieper (Back, 12, Capt.), Grace Ferris (Breast, 11), Katie Weaver (Fly, 11) and Libby Weaver (Free, 9) – 8 Points.

3^rd  Place with a time of 2:16.17 the team of Marin Allen (Back,10), Amanda Van (Breast, 11), Jacqueline Brown(Fly,11) and Katie Barr (Free,8) – 2 Points.

200 Freestyle:

1^st Place with a winning time of 2:13.03, Senior Lizzy Drake - 6 pts;

2^nd Place, Caroline Dennis (10) with at time of 2:16.75- 4 Pts;

4^th Place, Laura Ferris (9) with a time of 2:28.44 – 2 Pts.

200 Individual Medley:

1^st Place with a winning time of 2:27.18, Grace Ferris – 6 Pts;

3^rd Place, Jacqueline Brown, with a time of 2:40.46 – 3 Pts;

5^th Place, Krista Taylor (11), with a time of 2:54.55 – 1 Pts.

50 Freestyle:

1^st Place with a winning time of 25.86, Katie Weaver – 6 Pts; 

2^nd Place, Libby Weaver with a time of 27.82 – 4 Pts.

4^th Place, Katie Barr with at time of 28.85 – 2 pts.


Diving:

1^st Place with a winning score of 229.55, Megan Matheny (10)  – 6  Pts

100 Butterfly:

1^st Place with a time of 1:02.77, Katie Weaver – 6 Pts;

2^nd Place, Marin Allen with a time of 1:09.00 – 4 Pts;

4^th Place, Tori Swanson (12, Capt) with at time of 1:23.33 – 2 Pts.

100 Freestyle:

1^st Place with a winning time 58.47, Paige Kieper – 6 Pts;

3^rd  Place, Caroline Dennis with a time of 1:00.92 – 3 Pts.

4^th Place, Libby Weaver with a time of 1:02.02 – 2 Pts.

500 Freestyle:

1^st Place with a winning time 6:03.06, Lizzy Drake – 6 Pts;

3^rd Place, Laura Ferris  with a time of 6.36.13 – 3 Pts;

5^th Place, Lexi Ryan (11) with a time of 6:48.58 – 1 Pt.

200 Freestyle Relay:

1^st Place with winning time of 1:53.05 the team of Caroline Dennis, Grace Ferris, Libby Weaver, and Lizzy Drake – 8 Pts;

3^rd Place with a time of 2:01.93, the team of  Jackie Brown, Tori Swanson (Capt), Krista Taylor and Meghan Matheny – 2 Pts.

Subsequent to the completion of the 200 Free Relay  Coach Diane Hicks Hughes elected to have only certain swimmers swim for points and the rest as Exhibition as Lansing was already far enough ahead on points to secure the win. Therefore some times are reported for actually placing as opposed to scoring position.

100 Backstroke:

1^st Place with a winning time of 1:05.71, Paige Kieper – 6 Pts;

3^rd Place, Marin Allen with a time of 1:10.88;

 5^th Place, Katie Barr with a time of 1:14.27.



100 Breaststroke:

1^st Place with a winning time of 1:15.03, Grace Ferris – 6 Pts

2nd Place, Jackie Brown with a time of 1:24.68;

5^th  Place, Amanda Van with a time of 1:30.90.

400 Freestyle Relay:

1^st Place with a time of 4:19.06 the team of  Katie Weaver, Katie Barr, Marin Allen and Paige Kieper;

3^rd Place with a time of 4:42.41 the team of Lizzy Drake, Krista Taylor, Madison McMillen (9) and Meghan Matheny.
