The Lansing Ladycats swimmers capped off their  3^rd perfect (12-0) Dual Meet regular season Thursday in a row with a 96.5-59.5 win over Oddessa-Montour. The Lansing team’s regular season winning streak currently sits at 34 wins and goes back to the last regular season meet of the year in the 2012 vs. Dryden. 

It was a also a bitter sweet night as the LadyCats celebrated Senior Night. A fond tribute from the team was given to Team Captains Tori Swanson and Paige Kieper; as well as fellow swimmers Elizabeth Drake, Katie Dedrick, Amanda Van and Lauren Marzolf. 


Scoring/Placing results  for Lansing by event was as follows.

200 Medley Relay: 

1^st Place with a winning time  2:05.03, the team of Caroline Dennis (Back, 10), Grace Ferris (Breast, 11), Katie Weaver (Fly, 11) and Meghan Matheny(Free,10) – 8 Points.

2^nd  Place, the SENIOR RELAY team of Paige Kieper (Back),  Amanda Van (Breast, 11), Tori Swanson(Fly) and Lizzy Drake(Free) – 4 Points.

200 Freestyle:

1^st Place with a winning time of 2:15.65, SENIOR Lizzy Drake - 6 pts;

2^nd Place, Katie Barr (8) - 4 Pts;

4^th Place, Krista Taylor (11)– 2 Pts.


200 Individual Medley:

1^st Place with a winning time of 2:26.44, Grace Ferris – 6 Pts;

2^nd Place, Marin Allen (10)– 4 Pts;

3^rd  Place, Libby Weaver (9) – 3 Pts.

50 Freestyle:

1^st Place with a winning time of 26.15, SENIOR Paige Kieper – 6 Pts; 

2^nd Place, Caroline Dennis – 4 Pts.

4^th Place(Tie), SENIOR Amanda Van – 1.5 pts.


Diving:

1^st Place with a winning score of 185.90, Megan Matheny (10)  – Exhibition

100 Butterfly:

1^st Place with a time of 1:11.41, Jackie Brown (10) – 6 Pts;

3^rd  Place, Laura Ferris (9)– 3 Pts;

100 Freestyle:

1^st Place with a winning time 58.96, Caroline Dennis – 6 Pts;

500 Freestyle:

1^st Place with a winning time 5:48.79, Grace Ferris – 6 Pts;

2^nd Place, SENIOR Lizzy Drake – 4 Pts;

4^th  Place, Lexi Ryan (11) – 2 Pts.

200 Freestyle Relay:

1^st Place with winning time of 1:51.56 the team of Libby Weaver, SENIOR Paige Kieper, Jackie Brown and Grace Ferris – 8 Pts;

2^nd Place, the team of  Meghan Matheny,  Katie Barr,  Lanaia Hubbard (10) and Laura Ferris – 4 Pts.

Subsequent to the completion of the 200 Free Relay  Coach Diane Hicks Hughes elected to swim Exhibition as Lansing was already far enough ahead on points to secure the win. Therefore, times are reported for actual placing as opposed to scoring position.

100 Backstroke:

1^st Place with a time of 1:04.11, SENIOR Paige Kieper;

3^rd Place, SENIOR Tori Swanson;

 4th Place, Krista Taylor.


100 Breaststroke:

1^st Place with a time of 1:17.68, Katie Weaver;

3^rd Place, Libby Weaver;

5^th Place, Katie Barr.

400 Freestyle Relay:

1^st Place with a time of 4:26.32 the team Jackie Brown, Marin Allen, Krista Taylor & Libby Weaver; 

3^rd Place the team of Michelle Romano (11), Lexi Ryan (11), Laura Ferris & SENIOR Tori Swanson;

4^th Place the team of SENIOR Amanda Van,  SENIOR Katie Dedrick, Samantha Sanito (9) and SENIOR Lauren Marzolf.
