The team members are all students at Lansing H.S. and are Varsity or Junior Varsity players. Says team trainer/coach LaMarr Peters, " We all knew after the success of the Varsity in the fall and the jump that the J.V. guys had made in the winter that we would be o.k.. Our mission was to use the season as a test board for new tactical approach and I think that was accomplished".

The Lynx play a creative, attack minded game that allows for players individual talents to flow. Peters added, "The technical abilities our players possess allow them more freedom than most of the teams we face. We are able to possess the ball for long periods of time when we need to and we have quick strike capabilities that keep our opponents chasing and scrambling. We play the game the right way and when its rolling, it is beautiful futbol to watch."

The true test for the team members will be this fall as they try to lead Lansing back to the state tournament where they bowed out in the Final Eight last fall. Peters adds, "As long as their minds remain clutter free and they walk the path of champions, these guys have a chance to bring that championship home to Lansing. They have the Waza, the technique, to pull it off."
