Lansing had eight girls qualify to compete at the state qualifiers meet last Thursday/Friday. Seniors Tiffany Lind, Natalie Usack, Kendal Dean, Colleen Trowbridge, Preeti Panda, and Veronica Palladino lead the way for freshman Katy Bland and Chloe Ryan. Cretney, setting a new school record, took home first place and will go to the state meet this weekend as section IV’s top seed in the 2000m Steeplechase.
