The Lansing Cross Country team had a small but significant showing at the 19th Annual Marathon Invitational on Saturday, October 20. Competing with 20 other area schools, Lansing managed a strong finish in 11th place with only five competitors able to score for the team. Josh Barber finished 8th with a time of 18:17, Travis Miller, Henry Potter, Dan Comisi and Casey Nassif rounded out the team's point total. Shanna Swanson placed 7th out of 115 competitors running 21:56 and Hannah Shea placed 19th with a time of 11:51 for the modified course.
The team competes at IACs this Saturday in Marathon.
