The Bobcats then hosted Moravia where they used a strong defense to beat Moravia 38-21. This was a great defensive effort as the boys held Moravia to just 8 field goals. Lansing had a balanced attack with Barresi leading with 14 points. Will Opperman chipped in 6. Lansing took the road to a much improved Newark Valley team's gym on Tuesday.
The boys got off to a 10-0 start and never looked back as they won 68-51. Barresi led the team again with 29 points. Opperman had 10 and Tyler Fleming added 9. The bench play was great as Matt Hartz and Kyle Sweazey came off the bench to contribute on both ends of the floor. Hartz rebounded well and Sweazey played great defense.
Lansing will travel to Dryden for a big divisional game on Friday night.
