ImageIthaca Shooting Stars--Three Teams Go 3-3
 
Three Ithaca Shooting Stars girls hockey teams played games two games each last weekend.  The 16U girls defeated the Troy Albany 16U II, 1-0, and the Perinton Edge 19U II, 3-0. The 14Us lost two close contests to the Camillus Cougars 14U, 0-2, and Skaneateles Lakers 16U, 1-2.  The 13Us fell to the New Hartford 12Us, 8-10, and beat the Binghamton Blizzard 12U, 3-2.
 
When the 13Us faced New Hartford 12U on Saturday. Bridget Derraugh had a hat trick and an assist, while Gwen Umbach scored twice and had an assist. Other goals were scored by Camille Rogers, Alex Stagliano, and Rachel Brock. Additional assists were provided by Aurora Solla, Hannah Wilson, Grace Ulinski, Brock, and Stagliano.  Sophia Hunt was in goal with 8 saves. On Sunday they were victorious over the Binghamton Blizzards 12U, 3-2.  Goals were scored by Ismini Ethridge, Ulinski, and Brock. Alex Stagliano was in goal with 7 saves.

The 14U Shooting Stars lost to Central New York opponents, Camillus Cougars 14U, 0-2, and Skaneateles, 0-2. Angela Everhart made 18 saves vs. Camillus and Alison Pace stopped 19 vs. Skaneateles. Marissa Ramos made the lone goal unassisted.
 
Both 16U Shooting Stars goalie had a shutout making 10 saves each: Annabelle Jones vs. Troy and Sarah Eisenhut vs. Perinton. Janesa Cornish scored against Troy assisted by Katie Long and Erin Grainger. Cornish also scored against Perinton as did Jones assisted by Gabe Klick and Kathryn Luschwitz assisted by Kaitlyn Ryan.  Ithaca scored 1 vs. Skaneateles.
