
Lansing Baseball opened the season Wednesday at home with a 5-3 win over Athens, Pa. Justin Payne and Brian Milliman combined on a three-hit shutout. Simeon Parks delivered the big hit in the fourth inning a bases clearing double to put the Bobcats up 5-0. Teagen Barresi and Matt Ford each had a hit. Defensively Vincnen Redmond had a solid night with seven assists.
Next action is Thursday at Union Springs.
