The Lansing Girls Varsity Basketball team improved their record to 9-0 with a hard fought 51-40 victory at Waverly on Tuesday.  The Ladycats received balanced scoring with MC Barrett and Beth Lader leading the way with 12 points each. Barrett was outstanding scoring her 12 points on 6 of 9 shooting from the floor, while Lader was 3 of 4 from behind the 3 point line.  Megan Palladino added 10 points and Rachael Palladino had 9 points and a team high 5 assists and 6 steals, while Jocelyn Ford chipped in with 8 points.

Over the Holiday break the Ladycats won the Owego Holiday Tournament, defeating Auburn in the first round 57-31 and defeating Ithaca in the championship game 45-28. Megan Palladino was named tournament MVP while sister Rachael Palladino was selected to the All-Tournament team.
