The Girls Varsity Basketball team raised their record to 13-0 following two road wins, a 53-27 win at Watkins Glen last Friday and a 62-20 win at Groton on Tuesday.  At Watkins Glen the Ladycats were led by Jocelyn Ford with 18 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds, Megan Palladino added 9 points and a team high 8 rebounds.  Rachael Palladino and Ellyn Grant-Keane each added 8 points, with Rachael having a team high 11 steals.

At Groton Jocelyn Ford led the way with 19 points, while Megan Palladino had a double/double with 11 points and a team high 10 rebounds. All 9 team members figured in the scoring column with Beth Lader adding 8 points, MC Barrett and Colby McCartney with 5 points each, Rachael Palladino, Stephanie Gonyea and Nina Lindberg chipped in with 4 points each, and Ellyn Grant-Keane added 2 points and a team high 6 steals.

The team continues to play outstanding team defense holding their opponents to an average of 24 points per game, while forcing an average of 30 turnovers a game. The Ladycats host Newark Valley on Friday for an important Division I contest.
