The 19Us goalie Sarah Eisenhut had a shut out on Sunday; she turned away 28 shots during the two contests. In first game, Erin Grainger scored a hat trick with the other two goals coming from Samantha Craig and Katie Long. Assists were awarded to Krystalyn Yonkin, Emma Hassen, Emily Eisenhut and Long. In the second game, Grainger and Yonkin each scored one with Carrie Wilder assisting.
14U goalie Alex Stagliano stopped 44 shots in the two games with the Syracuse Stars.
12U netminder Caitlin Whittaker made 37 saves against Canandaigua and Binghamton. Anastasia Lyon opened the scoring from Ellie Muckstadt, and Maddy Kessy scored unassisted. Paige Johnson sealed the effort scoring from passes from Muckstadt and Zoe Seznec Sweetland. They also lost 3-2 to Binghamton Blizzard despite two goals by Seznec Sweetland.
During mid-January, the Ithaca Shooting Stars 12U and 14U girls ice hockey teams were active while the 19Us had a short break in their season. The 12Us defeated the New Hartford 12U girls, 9-0, and lost to Binghamton 12Us,1-4, while the 14Us fell to Binghamton 16Us, 1-6.
On Saturday, Jan 10th, the 12U Shooting Stars lost to the 12U girls from Binghamton with goalie Caitlyn Whittaker stopping 25 shots and Aurora Solla garnered the lone goal. On Sunday, Jan 16th, this team was victorious over New Hartford led by Paige Johnson's hat trick, and two goals each from Zoe Seznec Sweetland, Maddy Kessy, and Anna Kirkwood.
Assists on the goals were credited to Solla, Anastasia Lyon, Aurora, Ellie Muckstadt, Sophie Partington, Anu Pruitt, Sacha Rady, Becky Urda, and Grace Wolczanski.
When the 14U Shooting Stars played Binghamton 16U, Meredith Kirk scored with an assist from LT Furman. Alex Stagliano had 23 saves in goal.
