ImageThe Bobcats suffered a tough loss versus Waverly last Friday night losing 34-6 to the Waverly Wolverines.  Running back Kevin Gorman rolled up 273 yards rushing and scored three touchdowns to lead Waverly's ground assault.  The Bobcats had few answers offensively or defensively, scoring their lone touchdown on a long pass from T.J. Cretney to Craig Esposito.

Lansing hopes to bounce back and have refocused their efforts this week against arch rival Trumansburg on Friday night.  The game features the first annual "Battle for the Paddle," in which the winning team can claim not only bragging rights for the year, but also claim a commemorative paddle which will be put on display at the winning school.
