ImageAfter wins against Watkins Glen on September 9th and Odessa Montour on the 17th, the Lansing Girls Swimming & Diving Team scored another win in a home meet against Dryden Monday.  The 117-66 win marked coach Diane Hicks-Hughes' 300th victory as Lansing's varsity swimming and diving coach.  The team is undefeated for the season so far.

This came on the heels of the September 17th meet when Lansing beat Odessa Montour 99.5 to 62.5.  In that meet Anna Conte won the 100 breaststroke in 1:21.58, but Lansing swam exhibition so it wasn't counted for points.  The 400 Free Relay team from Lansing also swam exhibition but swam a 4:08.27.  Kali Dean, Kelsy Quigley, Erin Trowbridge and Ashley McDonald.  Kali Dean swam the state qualifying time in the 50 free with the lead off leg in the 200 Free Relay of 24.98.

In Monday's meet against Dryden Courtney Pollack, Alex Conte, Kali Dean and Erin Trowbridge set the tone when they sped to first placeat 2:02:30 in the 200 Yard Medley Relay.  Victoria Katz, Andrea Payton, Chelsea Tucker and Libby Drake followed in second place.  Lansing took the two top spots in the second event when Kelsy Quigley finished first at 2:13.74 in the 200 Yard Freestyle, and Anna Conte sprinted into second place.  In the Girls 200 Yard IM Ashley McDonald finished first at  2:37.85.  Then Courtney Pollack took first in the 50 Yard Freestyle at 27:23 with Erin Trowbridge taking second place.  

Dryden's Alexandra Seymour and Megan Cornelius scored the two top spots in 1 mtr Diving with Lansing's Victoria Katz coming in third.  But Lansing was back in the 100 Yard Butterfly when Kali Dean sped to first place in 1:04.60, with Ashley McDonald coming in second.  Alex Conte finished first in the 100 Yard Freestyle, and Erin Trowbridge took first place in the 500 Yard Freestyle with Anna Conte following in second.

The Lansing 'C' and 'E' teams took first and second place in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with Alex Conte, Ashley McDonald, Kali Dean and Courtney Pollack finishing in 1:44.19, and Kelsy Quigley, Marissa Lehr, Shaye Weldon and Erin Trowbridge in 1:57.59.  Chelsea Tucker finished first in the 10th event, the 100 Yard Backstroke.

Kali Dean finished the 100 Yard Breaststroke in 1:15.82, earning first place in the event.  And in the final event Lansing's 'C' team took first when Courtney Pollack, Alex Conte, Anna Conte and Kelsy Quigley finished in in 4:07.46.
