basketball_girls120The Lansing Girls Basketball team improved their record to 2-0 on the season following a 46-18 Divisional win over Dryden last Friday. Jocelyn Ford led the way with 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Shanna Shaff chipped in with 8 points, and Colby McCartney and Taylor Policay each added 6 points.

The Ladycats got out to a 13-2 lead after one quarter, defensively limiting the Purple Lions to 2 free throws. The entire team contributed to another solid defensive effort that saw them force 30 Dryden turnovers, and hold a decisive 39-25 advantage on the boards.

The next game for the Ladycats is today on the road at Southern Cayuga.
