A number of the Girls Varsity basketball players were recognized for their contributions this past season; Jocelyn Ford was Selected by league coaches as the I.A.C. North Large Division MVP, Colby McCartney was selected as a I.A.C. 1st Team All-Star, and Nina Lindberg, Shanna Shaff and Taylor Policay were selected as I.A.C. 2nd team All-Stars.

The two team awards voted on by the players, Kathryn Hornibrook was given the Most Improved Player award, while Nina Lindberg was given the Most Valuable Player award.

Jocelyn Ford and Nina Lindberg were chosen to participate in the I.A.C. Exceptional Senior game, and while Jocelyn Ford was unable to actually play, Nina Lindberg led the North team with 9 points. In addition, Jocelyn Ford was also recognized by Section IV as she was selected by coaches within the Section as the Class B Player of the Year.

Seven players were members of the New York State Scholar Athlete Team Award for academic excellence, Rachel Bruce, Jocelyn Ford, Kathryn Hornibrook, Nina Lindberg, Maura McCartney, Shea McCartney and Taylor Policay. Congratulations to all of these players for their accomplishments and contributions to the success of the Lansing Girls Basketball program, and best wishes to our three graduating seniors, Joccelyn Ford, Kathryn Hornibrook and Nina Lindberg.
