basketball_girls120The Lansing Girls Basketball team improved their record to 11-1 with two road wins, 41-30 over Whitney Point on Tuesday, and 56-16 over Union Springs on Wednesday.

On Tuesday Taylor Policay and Maura McCartney each had 9 points to lead the way for the Ladycats, while Shea McCartney had 7. Colby McCartney led the team in rebounds with 11, Carlene Fields and Shanna Shaff each had 3 assists, while Shaff had a team high 4 steals.

Wednesday Colby McCartney had 10 points to lead a balanced scoring attack that saw all ten players score. In addition to her point total Colby also had a team high 12 rebounds. Shea McCartney chipped in with 9 points and tied Shanna Shaff with a team high 3 assists, while Shaff had a team high 4 steals to go with her 7 points.

The Ladycats host Moravia on Friday.
