The Lady Cats won their first game of the season despite having only 5 of 6 bowlers. Kaela Teitelbaum lead her team with a high game of 143 and a 407 series. Teammates Keisha Lee (143-374), Melissa Seymour (130-369), Carli Teitelbaum (148-366), and Amanda Seymour (100-271). Odessa's Sarah Simmons helped her team taking the last 3 points with a high 177 game, 463 series.
The boys team swept Odessa by taking all 4 points of their match. Joel Teitelbaum averaging 201 lead the charge. Tossing a high game 227 and 555 series. Brandon Mikula followed with a (187-512), Other nice games turned in by Nate Williamson (163), Cole Quigley (159),and Tony Paige (149).
Thursday December 6, 2012 the Lansing Bowlers traveled to Valley Lanes, where they met a very powerful Waverly team.
Both the girls and boys saw a lot strikes thrown against them. The girls lost all 4 points. Melissa Seymour bowled a 155 game for a 403 series. Waverly girls were lead by Meaghann Campbell (212-620) and Karleigh VanNess (192-549).
Lansing Girls record 1-17
On the boys' lanes the Bobcats gave the Waverly boys all that they could handle. A total 5 of the 12 bowlers posted high scores putting each over the 600 series mark. On his 18th birthday, Lansing bowler Joel Teitelbaum tossed a 223 game for a 627 series. Brandon Mikula (215-611) and Cole Quigley (236-589). High team total for one game 1015 pin fall.
Waverly boys, Mason Beard (255-692), Conner Joseph (233-648) and Ben Cowles (225-642) High team score 1131 pin fall.
The Lansing boys took 1 of the 4 points from Waverly. This important point was Waverly's first loss within the last two years.
