Thanks to all our neighbors who put up holiday lights and lighted displays during the month of December! Driving through the ever-increasing darkness in the evening can seem pretty bleak, but the colorful lights are creative and cheerful to see along the roads of Lansing.

I especially like the nice, large collection of lighted houses and yards north of the Salmon Creek Bridge on Rt. 34B, and on Myers Road, and the lovely displays further north on 34B. Another notable is the farm tractor in lights at the corner of E. Shore Drive and Waterwagon Roads! I hope the "dinosaurs" are lit up at the entrance to East Lake Road this year.
