ImageDuring December 13-14 weekend, the three Ithaca Shooting Stars girls hockey travel teams faced the Camillus Cougars teams at their age level.  The 19Us tied 1-1 and won 3-2, while the 14Us were edged 2-3, and the 12Us had a tougher challenge falling 1-8.
 
Both 19U games were even contests in terms of shots faced by Sarah Eisenhut and the Cougar in net; 25 per game per team.   In the 1-1 tie, Katie Long scored  unassisted.  In the victory, Long opened the scoring in the first period, but the third period featured an unassisted goal by Gabe Klick, and an Emily Eisenhut goal assisted by Lauren Cole.

Alex Stagliano was in goal for the 14Us stopping 20 shots.  Marlena Doerr scored unassisted, and Rachel Brock was assisted for the second goal by Bridget Derraugh.
 
When the Camillus 12Us defeated Ithaca, 8-1, it was Zoe Seznec Sweetland who scored the lone goal unassisted. Goalie Caitlin Whittaker  made 30 saves.
