Lansing scored second in the Class C Girls Swimming Sectionals last weekend. Chenango Forks Varsity came in first with 369.5 points followed by Lansing (347 ), Watkins Glen (322.5), Waverly (274), Odessa-Montour (237), Greene (205), Southern Springs (133 ), and Whitney Point Varsity (111).Lansing swimmers Erin Trowbridge, Alex Conte, Courtney Pollack and Allia Ruparelia came in third at 2:00.46 in the 200 Yard Medley Relay. Erin Trowbridge completed the 200 Yard Freestyle in second place in 2:08.66. Alex Conte also finished second in the 200 Yard IM in 2:27.16. Anna Conte was second in the 50 Yard Freestyle, finishing in 25.90. Courtney Pollack scored third in 1:02.04 in the 100 Yard Butterfly. In the 100 Yard Freestyle Anna Conte came in second at 59.16.
Lansing's Erin Trowbridge sped to first place in 5:50.25 in the 500 Yard Freestyle. In the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay the Lansing 'A' team also took first place, with Courtney Pollack, Alex Conte, Erin Trowbridge and Anna Conte finishing the event in 1:43.81.
Courtney Pollack scored fifth in the 100 Yard Backstroke in 1:09.02. Alex Conte was also fifth in the 100 Yard Breaststroke at 1:18.05. Lansing came in fourth in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay as Chelsea Boles, Allia Ruparelia, Marissa Lehr and Anna Conte finished in 4:08.86.
