“This dog, who we are calling Autumn was one of four dogs that escaped from an individual who wanted to turn all four over to the SPCA," SPCA Executive Director Jim Bouderau says. "We were able to catch three of them, pictured here, all of whom since have been adopted by new caring guardians.”
The SPCA asks that anyone who sees Autumn, especially someone with a fenced yard or a garage, try to encourage her to come into the garage or yard, close the fence or door, and call the SPCA immediately at (607) 592-6773.
“We are receiving dozens of calls a day reporting sightings of Autumn, but she is very shy (not at all dangerous) and has been incredibly elusive when we’ve tried to catch her," Bouderau says. "We can really use the public’s help catching her and keeping her safe until we can bring her to the shelter.”
