Downtown Ithaca is going to the dogs ... hot dogs, that is, along with a few mutts and maybe even some kitties too! On Saturday, August 20th from 11am to 3pm, Lou "the Hot Dog Guy" Cassiniti will be donating his profits from the day's sales to the Tompkins County SPCA.  Have lunch and support homeless animals in Tompkins County all in one bite!
The Tompkins County SPCA's Mobile Adoption Unit will also be there with dogs and kitties ready for adoption.  Stop by the Bank Alley on the Commons, grab a dog (hot dog, that is), and enjoy your day knowing you're making a difference in the lives of the nearly 3,000 animals who find their way to the TC SPCA every year. And who knows, in addition to a full belly, you might just find a new best friend!
