Archive: Around Town

There was a lot going on in Lansing Saturday.  While the Lansing Family Triathlon took over the school campus, the annual municipal auction was held at the Highway Department grounds on Town Barn Road.  People came from all over to get a good deal on trucks, construction equipment, cars, and even bicycles.

The Lansing Lion's Club was at the auction, as always, providing burgers, donuts, and all manner of refreshments.  Back at the Town Hall the Girls Varsity Swim Team was barbecuing a veritable chicken massacre to raise money for the team.
